I am currently an Undergraduate Student at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. I am doubling majoring in Fine Arts and Mass Communications.
But, before I got to this point....I was born in upstate/western New York in a town called Fairport, a little suburb outside Rochester. There is where my childhood memories still lay.
When I was 15 years old, my family and I moved to Towson, Maryland. Here I went to Towson High School (which is a block away from Towson University). In high school I got very involved in the art program, particularly photography. I worked through the Photography 1, 2, 3, 4 levels and went on to take AP Photography. I fell in love with using the dark room. I also played a lot with digital. In my Junior year, I won 1st Place Photography Portfolio in our school's annual student art exhibition, and won four Scholastic Arts Awards for single piece submissions. And my senior year, I got 2nd place in the exhibition, won 7 Scholastic awards for single pieces and one for portfolio.
Since then, my love of photography has kind of gotten away from me. But, my focus has turned more towards mixed media, printmaking, and crafty type projects.
